Stylmartin Raptor Evo in camo

The Stylmartin Raptor is configured as a high-top trainer. It’s made from a camouflage-pattern, water-resistant, fabric, but of course the real waterproofing comes from a breathable, waterproof membrane. In the heel, as a gearchange pad and down the quarters are areas of leather.

 

You get a small counter at the end of the toe and another in the heel. The ankles are protected by hard, foam-backed pucks. The shaft of the boot is also nicely padded for comfort, as well as for extra protection.

 

The boots come with two pairs of laces. A ‘dirty’ white pair and a yellow/black pair. The edge of the sole has also been given a used/worn look. So don’t send them back thinking that somebody else has worn them. They haven’t been worn. The sole itself is what Stylmartin calls its City Grip sole. What this means obviously is that it’s more suited to the urban environment.

 

Inside the boot there’s a replaceable, anatomic insole for comfort.
