Klim Zephyr Wind shirt in grey Product Information

The Klim Zephyr is a very neat and effective bit of kit that has been designed to bring a touch of extra wearability to a mesh, or highly breathable, top. If you’re wearing something like the Marrakesh, and it’s a bit chilly, we often recommend wearing something like a Scott waterproof jacket over the top. But in certain conditions that might be deemed a little excessive. And in such circumstances the Zephyr will do the same job.

Worn inside the jacket, the Zephyr is a stretchy, breathable top that has a membrane bonded to its inner surface. This membrane is a windproof barrier, and will certainly take the chill off. Now because a windproof membrane is also a waterproof membrane, the Zephyr will also deliver a degree of water resistance; but only water resistance because the membrane is not taped. The shirt will roll up to the size of a tennis ball so is extremely portable.

John: Klim Zephyr

Now worn a few times and being lightweight it is almost unnoticeable, keeps the wind out but doesnt get clammy. Easily fits into a pocket of my Belstaff Trialmaster, shame it doesnt come with a stuff bag.

Tom W: Excellent

This is a well made very light 184 grams garment as described. I have no problem with the lack of pockets which would add to the weight and the bulk. It is described as a shirt after all. However I intend to use it as intended but also as a lightweight destination jacket. It will work. Good stuff costs. There are at least 4 margins involved. The factory  - in Vietnam - probably get the smallest margin and the most work, speaking as a former garment manufacturer for 50 years then there is the brand Klim, effectively the wholesaler, and Motolegends the retailer. These all do something to earn their corn. There is also the HMRC who play no part other than demand £15 off the top as VAT. Which the chancellor requires to meet the demands of the population for support. If you can afford it you probably will not be disappointed.  Im 5 7 40 inch chest, Medium fits perfectly. Thanks Motolegends for a great service.

Patricia: Zephyr Wind Jacket

True to sizing, and fantastically compact to pack. VERY well made. Extremely happy with this purchase and of course the superb service from Motolegends.

Bruce: Zephyr Wind Shirt

A nice bit of motorcycle kit, very good quality, put it on under any ventilated jacket to keeps the chill off first thing in the morning. It packs away into a very small space, so fits under the seat or in a tank bag or pocket, when not needed. My on negative comment would be the lack of pockets as it only has one zip up chest pocket.

MG: Zephyr Wind Shirt

A nice addition to my motorcycling kit. Rated it 3 out of 5 because of price and lack of pockets. Plus points Unnoticeable underneath my jacket and very lightweight. Packs away very neatly and compactly. Easy to carry in a jacket pocket. Negative points Price, not sure its worth nearly £100. Lack of pockets, a few more would have been nice. Sizing-Im a 42/44 chest and I ordered a large and its a bit too big but thats my fault and nothing to do with the shirt. There is an elasticated pull on the hem but it can still feel slightly baggy. If I was to order again I would go for a medium. Overall a good, lightweight base layer if perhaps slightly expensive.
