Klim Layering System

We love the Klim layering system. For us, it is what Klim, as a brand, is all about. In all honesty, Chris is probably the biggest proponent of it. Never really seen riding in anything but his Klim Marrakesh with whatever necessary layers are required to suit the current conditions. So there is the Klim Marrakesh, a windproof Klim Zephyr and then some kind of suitable warmth layer.  That can be heated clothing, a down layer, or some suitable Icebreaker (or other) merino layer.

Klim Maverick down jacket in insignia blue

Jonathan Hepworth: Just the job

Ive been prevaricating as to whether to splash out on a Maverick or not. In the end I finally bit the bullet and have only one regret...I should have bought one sooner! Super comfortable, complements thr Klom Marrakesh perfectly. So muc better than the Rukka down jacket, which is warm but relatively bulky by comparison.

Klim Zephyr Wind shirt in blue

Richard: Works as intended

Obviously you can buy a cheaper to do a similar job but for me its well worth paying the extra for the quality feel and fit. Sizing is not far out for me but will depend on wether you want to wear over or under and slightly larger you can do both.

Klim Marrakesh jacket in cool grey

Alistair Sadleir: Jacket Review

I have the Klim Marrakesh jacket and the Rukka Air Vihti jackets. I also have two bikes one for commuting into London and the other to go on tour like the bikes use them for different purposes . Both the jackets are very good the Klim IMO very slightly more airflow and definitely less bulky and is the more comfortable jacket casual jacket to use in town . Its quality fit and ability to wear to and from meetings with jeans suits no longer used these days - The air flow is great and I have upgraded the protection and sometimes I take out the back protection and use a plasma 5 airbag which also works. In the hottest weather heatwave I did have a period wondering if I should have bought the Klim induction but over 25 to about 32 degrees is great . The jacket coupled with a windbreaker for colder mornings also works. The folks @ motolegends again have provided great service and advice.
