The Daytona AC Classics GTX is Daytona's first classic short boot. It's likely to be the toughest, most waterproof, and most reliable short boot of them all. It both looks and feels like a traditional hiking boot, and is available in both brown and black. Made from high-quality Nubuck leather with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, with a loop at the back for easy entry, shoelaces and a zipper, elastic throughout and an anatomically shaped air insole, makes the Daytona AC Classics GTX a very comfortable boot indeed. Ankle protection and padding is on both sides with a special open-cell foam, and a reinforced inner sole with galvanised steel torsion-resistant inlay, ensuring your feet are as well protected as more traditional boots.

F D: You wont be having steak
but youll be wearing the best short boots! Thats how I feel about these, they come at a price but once you put them on you get why. Other than their impressive CE rating of 1-2-2-2, they wear comfortably and the materials and workmanship seem like they will last. I found them comfortable to ride and walk in right away, I found them fairly roomy on the inside so if you have a narrow foot you may need to bulk up a bit. The sole is very grippy, the upper very pliable so I can feel the shifter. The toe box and heel cup feel solid and the ankle covers are well hidden behind their foam. Looks are a matter of taste, to me theyre just not a focal point so I can get on with my day and I can trust them to do their job. Home run Daytona and thank you Legends.

I bought a pair of these for the summer, and am I glad I did. Instantly comfortable, easy to put on. Plenty of feel on the bike. They dont look out of place if you are away from the bike. Well no more than any of my size 12 boots do. I dont expcct to need to buy any others. I do use some road saatar GTs in winter.

Well made, super comfortable out of the box. Waterproof ,good protection, look like walking boots. With a pair of tech jeans, and a non robocop jacket, you can get off the bike , walk into pub I wish and look like a human. Cos they're short I guess water may infiltrate on long wet trips, if your trousers aren't long- wear gaiters? Perfect for warm days.

Very impressed with these so far. Build quality and finish is excellent. Easy to put on take off using the side zips. Despite their obvious strength the boots are very comfortable and still allow a good feel when changing gear. Like them!
Paul: Not the sexiest looking boot...
Not the sexiest looking boot, more walking boot than Milan catwalk, but I wanted something to go with my Rokker Revolution jeans and the Daytona AC dry I had initial bought, just didnt work and what a stupid lacing system but the classics looked liked they were a better bet. They are superbly well made, stiff to wear initially, but like all Daytona boots they soon wear in and feel more like slippers. I can't wait to wear them when we can finally get out to ride our bikes. April 2020 Covid-19
