Martin: Fantastic Value for a Quality Jacket

Bought this at the reduced price. Already have far too many jackets but I thought for the price I might as well give it a go. Up until now Im not sure any of my other jackets are truly waterproof in heavy rain. Anyway thought I would test the waterproof qualities of this jacket on a 2 hour ride in moderate to heavy rain. When I got home I was amazed to find there were none of the usual damp patches on my base layer, arms, shoulders front torso etc. There was a very small damp patch near the bottom of the zip but Im sure that was due more to the up and under flow of water from the trousers. If I was to use this when heavy rain was expected I would wear some waterproof trousers with a high waist bib such as the Scotts which I believe would solve this very minor issue. Have also used the jacket in warm weather , 24 degrees C, and the venting system did its job admirably. I know have a jacket that I can wear in most weathers without a need to carry a waterproof over jacket secure in the knowledge that neither rainy weather nor very warm weather will spoil my ride. I actually bought two of these jackets with the second one being a size up to allow for base layers andor a heated vest. Rode on several very cold days in the winter and was never cold. If I had bought this jacket before all the others I think I would have just these two jackets and my Klim Marakesh and a lot more wardrobe space!

Fraser: Brilliant Jacket and Pants

Going into my 5th season using this kit and its been brilliant apart from a few minor niggles such as the velcro closure on the neck of the jacket which constantly comes undone and could really do with a press stud and the braces which constantly pop off the trousers and have now dropped to bits and at £70 odd for replacements really should be much better! I did have an initial issue with knee pad placement but the good lady at Motolegends quickly sorted this out for me. Both been used in all kinds of weathers both at home and on the continent in biblical rain and scorching temperatures without issue, the vents are fantastic and enable comfortable riding for me anyway upto around 25 degrees, anything hotter i use my Marrakesh jacket. so all in all superb kit

michele: Well designed, good fit

Very pleased with these boots. True to size, plenty of room for adjustment. Feel sturdy but very comfortable to walk in.
