Cardo Comms

Cardo motorcycle intercoms cover everything from a conversation with your pillion to keeping in touch with a group of riding friends. There are straightforward Bluetooth headsets and more sophisticated Packtalk Mesh systems. But the best Cardo intercom for you will depend on what you actually want it to do. There is little point paying for a host of features you are never going to use.

For phone calls, satnav instructions, music and rider-to-pillion communication, the Cardo Spirit HD is a sensible starting point. If group conversations are a regular part of your riding, look at the Cardo Packtalk Edge, which uses Cardo’s Dynamic Mesh Communication technology. Before choosing, find out what your friends use. Not all brands' mesh systems talk to each other seamlessly. Cardo's mesh, for example, will not work with Sena mesh.

The helmet matters, too. Owners of compatible Shoei helmets can choose the dedicated Cardo Packtalk-S or Bluetooth-only Cardo 4X-S. For selected Schuberth helmets, the Schuberth SC Edge brings Cardo technology to a system designed around the helmet.

Our view is that choosing motorcycle comms should start with three questions: which helmet do you have, who do you want to talk to, and what else do you need it to do? Browse the Cardo range below, or compare it with our wider selection of motorcycle helmet intercoms.
