Endura
Endura knee protectors offer a useful solution if you prefer to wear your knee armour directly against your legs. Originally developed for cycling, the MT500 knee socks in our range use D3O armour and can work with suitable motorcycle trousers or riding jeans. The idea is simple: the protector is held by its own sleeve, independently of the trouser’s armour pocket.
The Endura MT500 D3O Ghost knee socks contain slim, flexible Level 1 armour and suit riders looking for a discreet option beneath motorcycle jeans. The MT500 open knee socks use removable D3O LP1 Level 1 protectors, with additional side padding and Velcro fastenings. Their more substantial construction is particularly relevant to off-road riding.
Choose the size using the thigh measurements on the product page, then check that the protector stays correctly positioned when you bend your knees. These provide local impact protection; your outer trousers still need to provide appropriate abrasion resistance. For other options, take a look at our motorcycle armour.

Endura MT500 D30 knee socks
Bought these for an off road trip to Mongolia. Got knocked off the bike and landed on my knee. Trousers ripped but knee unhurt, excellent piece of kit.
Endura MT500 D30 Ghost knee socks
I always ride wearing a pair of single layer jeans but found that the knee armour was often moving out of place and also caused some discomfort on long journeys. I have now removed the jeans knee armour and wear these knee pads instead. Result is a more comfortable ride and no more fiddling with the knee pad position!
