MOMO Firegun-3 boots in black

Momo, the Italian design house famous for its automotive products, has recently tied up with TCX on a range of motorcycle boots. The Momo Firegun-3 is a lightweight, summer boot made from a highly breathable fabric. This having been said, it is still a waterproof boot with a membrane. It might look like just an ordinary piece of street footwear, but it is very much a motorcycle boot. You get protectors in the ankles, the toe and the heels. There’s a reinforcing shank in the sole. For the gear change, you get a small TPU protector. This is probably as comfortable a motorcycle boot as you’re ever going to wear, and in this it is aided by an Ortholite inner sole that gives added cushioning. The boots fasten with laces, obviously, but in the case of the Firegun-3 you get a ‘quick-lacing’ system. Another neat touch is a small pocket where you can tuck away the lace ends. Now even though this is very much a biking boot, the EVA midsole means that this is a boot you could walk in all day. And to that end there’s a strong, wear-resistant, outer rubber sole from a company called Groundtrax.
