Waterproof Motorcycle Boots
Cold, wet feet can make a winter ride miserable very quickly, so a good pair of waterproof motorcycle boots is essential when the weather turns. Winter motorcycle boots usually combine a waterproof membrane with additional insulation, while taller shafts and well-sealed closures help stop rain and cold air getting in around the ankle.
Sole grip is important too, particularly when roads, forecourts and pavements are wet or icy. Leather can work well if it is properly treated, although textile and laminated constructions are often easier to live with in persistent rain.
The key is to find a boot that keeps your feet protected and comfortable without being so bulky that it compromises feel at the gear lever or rear brake.

Held Saxton GTX boots in brown
Firstly, these are great boots and everything youd need for shorties. However, I disagree that the sizing is accurate. Im a size 1044 all day long. I know theres a slight difference in 44 and 10, but in every other brand of boots I own they are one and the same. I ordered the 44 but my toes touched the end and therefore were too small to lace up AND use the side zipper. The replacement 45s are perfect although it cost me £20 to send the 44s back for replacements.
Held Montaro WP boots in black
After two years commuting with my Falco ace boots, I purchased a pair of Held montaros, the held are slightly higher by an inch maybe, which I prefer, the lacing system is really cool, and the fit is really premium feeling, sizing is conventional ,Im an 8 size 42
Daytona AC Dry GTX boots in black
This is my third pair of shorties and second pair of Daytonas. It has to be said, just buy Daytona. These shorties are exceptional. I bought the Head ones a few weeks back and they are great, but there are superior in every way. Fit like a glove, walkable, comfortable, look great, will last me a lifetime. First thing I did was replace the laces with elasticated trainer ones with a toggle and they are now the perfect boot.
