The Klim X1 Alpha is a helmet we’ve been waiting for - and one that fills a clear gap in Klim’s line-up. While the Krios Pro remains the king of ultra-lightweight off-road performance, the X1 Alpha offers something different: a true dual-sport adventure helmet that balances off-road capability with long-distance road comfort.
 
This is the helmet for riders who love the adventure look and functionality - peak, large aperture, airflow - but spend more time covering tarmac miles than threading through technical trails. It’s quieter and more refined than the Krios Pro, but still lightweight and highly breathable, with Klim’s signature ventilation and rugged build quality throughout.
 
It’s also more road-ready. The fit feels more enclosed and the noise insulation is better, which means less fatigue on long motorway stints. But unlike many road-biased adventure helmets, the X1 Alpha still handles goggles, offers real ventilation and has a shell designed for active movement on the bike.

Graham: Another top quality helmet from Klim

Superb helmet, very comfortable with wind noise at a very acceptable level. Although its cool at the moment the vents seem to flow plenty of air. It slices through the air very well indeed with absolutely no buffeting or drag from the peak. In fact you would hardly know it had a peak. Sizing is spot on with a firm but comfortable fit.
