Shoei Hornet ADV 06 Helmet | Shoei Adventure Helmet

The Shoei Hornet ADV 06 has finally arrived in stock.  The first Shoei Hornet was launched way back in 2015. When the new EC 22-06 regulations were launched, word was that Shoei would be overhauling the Hornet completely. However, this new Hornet ADV 06 is basically just a relaunch of the existing helmet with minor modifications to make sure it reaches the new safety levels.

The Hornet was designed to offer serious off-road riders a helmet that can cope with on and off-road riding equally well. The helmet is well vented with a chin vent, a brow vent, a venting duct in the peak and two scalloped exhaust vents at the back. It is reasonably light, weighing in at 1600g and comes in four shell sizes for a lower profile fit.

As with all Shoei helmets you can change the head liners and cheek pads up and down for a perfect, comfortable fit. The peak is removable and the helmet can be worn either with the visor or with goggles. Unlike the Shoei Neotec 3, the ADV does not have an internal drop down dark visor.

At the time of the launch (July 2026) Shoei only has available XS, S, M and L. The XL & XXL are coming out of a new shell size and this is currently not available. Stock is expected at the very end of 2026.
