Segura Lady Woodstock jacket in grey Product Information
The Segura Lady Woodstock jacket is similar in concept to the company’s Frida jacket. It is similar in concept and differs only really in some of the detailing. It is, like the Frida, one of those motorcycle jackets that doesn’t look like a motorcycle jacket This having been said, the Segura Woodstock has an impressive spec. that would be the envy of many a supposed technical piece.
The outer material is called Serica. It feels like cotton but is clearly much stronger. The jacket is equipped with a fixed waterproof membrane and a permanent mesh lining. For warmth you get a zip-in thermal jacket that is aluminium lined to reflect heat back into the body.
There’s CE armour as standard in the elbows and shoulders. You don’t get a back protector, but there is a pocket that will take a D30 Viper protector. The Woodstock has more pockets than we can be bothered to count; we gave up when we ran out of fingers. You get adjusters on the sleeves and at the cuffs. You also get zips at the cuffs to help you put gloves beneath them. For the waist you get a belt. At the hem are two, zip-fastening gussets to help the jacket to splay when you are on the bike.
The bottom line is that the Segura Lady Woodstock jacket is not for commuting, but for the person who wants one jacket that you can pretty much wear all year round, the Woodstock might just be the ticket, especially if you’re going for that ‘I’m not a biker’ look.
