Rokker Black Jacket AAA Product Information
The Black Jacket has the appearance of a standard black denim jacket. Nothing about it shouts: ‘Look at me, I’m a biker’. And for many people that’s the appeal; it’s just a cool-looking, casual jacket. But delve a bit deeper, and you discover that there’s much more to it than meets the eye.
The outer chassis is made from a 100%, 14 ounce, single-layer Schoeller Dynatec. This material is immensely strong, delivering a ‘slide time’ that is 50% better than leather. To wear it you would never think this was the case, but it’s more than just a pretty face! It is now rated AAA under EN17092 which is mighty impressive for a jacket that is so wearable.
A Nanosphere treatment to the fibres of the fabric also gives you much more than ‘get-you-home’ levels of waterproofing. Although the jacket does not have taped seams or a waterproof front zip, it still has probably 30 minutes of waterproofing in it.
The upside of having no membrane, of course, is that this is a jacket that’s really nice to wear on a warm day, because the chassis loses none of its breathability. Okay, it’s no Klim Marrakesh or Rukka Forsair, but it runs pretty cool. A Coldblack treatment also prevents the UV rays from heating the jacket’s outer material when the sun is up.
The armour is all Level 1 D3O, including in the back.
The Black Jacket is aimed primarily at warm weather riding, but it delivers good air flow in a garment that’s stronger than leather. That you get a degree of waterproofing makes it more practical than most summer jackets, yet at the same time it delivers a timeless, classic denim jacket look.

Taka: Worth to buy
Purchased from Japan and it took only 4 days to be delivered. It was truly the fastest delivery I have ever experienced, and if you carefully read the instructions, everything was kindly mentioned and I had no questions or worries for international purchasing from MotoLegends. This Jacket has great quality - thick enough to protect and though it is soft to wear, 3DO armor is good. High quality materials. I could not find this kind of design in motorcycle jackets line up, and it suits for motorcycle riding and also good for off the bike and walking around. It is good to wear in Japan where it gets very humid during summer, I feel not to hot and not to cold. It is a bit pricy but worth buying it. I am 56, and size M is just right. Sleeves are a relatively longer than other jackets but it is just good to protect riders wrists. Can be a good rival of Belstaff Brooklands.
