Stylmartin Kansas boots in anthracite

The Stylmartin Kansas is made from a mix of leather and a kind of waterproof-treated, denim, textile fabric.

 

It's a lightweight, easy-to-wear boot, yet it comes with all the protective features you would expect in a proper, motorcycle boot. That is to say a stiffened counter at the end of the toe, pucks in the ankles and a counter in the heel.

 

The outer fabric has been waterproof treated, although the main waterproofing comes from a fully waterproof and breathable membrane.

 

The sole is Stylmartin's City Grip sole, so designed for the urban environment rather than the mud and dirt! The edge of the sole has been made to look used and worn, so if you order on the internet don't return them because you think someone else has worn them. The laces have also been similarly treated. Inside the boot there's a replaceable, anatomic insole.

 

If you're looking for a biking, ankle boot that you can polish up, then the Kansas isn't for you. If, by contrast, you'd like a boot that needs no treatment, then maybe you're in luck.

 

This is a proper, biking boot, but it's standout feature is probably its level of comfort. This is a very easy boot to wear.
