Bowtex Leggings in yellow Product Information
The famous, original DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibres leggings. Introduced by Bowtex in early 2015.
Comfortable and soft next to the skin, these leggings allow you to wear your favourite trousers (jeans, chino's, suit, etc.) on a bike and still be protected. They have been designed using a mix of materials for optimum abrasion protection, but will still be cooler than heavy bike jeans on hot summer days while helping to keep you warm when the weather turns cold. For added safety, there are pockets at the hip and knees that will take protective armour. It’s easy to slide a pair of jeans (even slim fit) on over the leggings, and they come in a wide range of unisex sizes. Read our review on Bowtex leggings and tops.

KEITH DACE: So far..........
I ordered these in Large. I am 6'2" and skinny. They fit very well due to a generous leg length, and are a bit loose around the waist, I am a 32, but as they go under jeans the loose fit doesn't bother me. I can never get motorcycle jeans long enough, so these are ideal to go with ordinary jeans / cargo pants etc. They go under slim fit jeans fine without additional body armour, and with body armour under cargo pants, I don't wear skinny fit, but imagine it would be a bit of a tight fit, even without the body armour. They are not overly warm, and on cold days, or long journeys I need a pair of lightweight waterproof trousers over the top in addition to jeans etc. I ride a GS and a Supermoto, and don't have a problem with material bunching behind the knee, but if you ride a sports bike with rear sets you might have an issue with that. I have previously used Kevlar leggings from another brand, but these are superior in every way, and I will be ordering a second pair, highly recommended as far as comfort, and added peace of mind, hopefully I'll never need to test out their real use.
P Regina: Mr
I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs. Ordered 2XL. They fit fine and are comfortable. They are, however, snug around the hips and seat, as the material doesn't have much flex there. They are also quite high waisted, which is a good thing I guess.
