Motorcycle gloves
There are many different styles of motorcycle glove to suit just about every kind of riding situation, and if you ride across the seasons, it is likely that you will have to equip yourself with more than one pair of gloves. For summer riding, and when it’s dry, it’s hard to argue against leather motorcycle gloves. It’s comfortable to wear, has strength for abrasion resistance, and gives the rider good feel at the controls. You could equally go for a textile version, but in essence a summer glove has no membrane. But leather is not good in the rain, as it simply absorbs moisture. This can leave you feeling both wet and cold. When it’s cold but dry, you may want to go for a padded leather glove. Every biker will probably also need a pair of waterproof motorcycle gloves. These can either be a summer weight, called a summer waterproof glove; or, for when it is cold and wet, an insulated and waterproof glove, known as a winter glove. Of course, from a style perspective, there are dozens of different designs that allow you to match your glove to the style of bike you ride.
We particularly like and recommend Richa gloves and Held gloves. Both companies started out as glove manufacturers so they really know gloves. Richa make very highly spec'd gloves at very competitive prices. Held make quite unique gloves and in a good range of sizing including short-fingered versions.

Verified customer reviews for Motorcycle gloves
Brian Sansom Police Summer Waterproof gloves in black
I received the new Brian Sansom Police Summer Waterproof gloves today and, naturally, took them straight out for a 150-mile introduction. Not that I needed much convincing. As the very happy owner of two pairs of Brian Sansom Police Summer gloves already one black, one brown, the second Chriss review of the waterproof version landed, I bought them immediately. No hesitation, no internal debate, no pretending to be sensible. I may well be one of the first customers, if not the first. And yes they are gorgeous. Completely, unnecessarily, gloriously gorgeous. As beautiful as the short non-waterproof version, possibly even better, which frankly is quite an achievement. Protection feels seriously solid. They will need a bit of breaking in, as proper leather gloves should. And yes, because they are leather, even with a laminated membrane, a bit of wetting out is part of the game. But in return you clearly get more weather protection, more wind resistance, a touch more insulation, and that lovely long cuff, which makes everything feel that bit more serious and substantial. But really, what deserves saying out loud is this craftsmanship of this quality is rare. These gloves dont just look good they radiate care, skill, seriousness and passion. You can see it immediately. For context, I own 29 pairs of premium motorcycle gloves 12 from FIVE, plus Held, Richa, Rukka, a couple of Dainese, and others. I am not exactly short of comparison material. And yet, my Brian Sansom Police Summer gloves remain the ones I love the most. They genuinely make me smile every time I look at them. And now I have the waterproof long version too. Wow!! Long live Brian Sansom. And hats off to Motolegends for bringing them to us as an exclusive. Cheers from the truest Italian Motolegends fan in Madrid, Spain.
Klim Badlands Aero Pro gloves in peyote / potters clay
Bought these gloves on a bit of a gamble - but was not disappointed. Very breathable - great fit and feel they would really stand up to a slidefall. Look rugged and feel great on. Great service from Motolegends as always!
Halvarssons Hede gloves in black
I bought these as a waterproof glove for use in winter months. I very much like the way they fit over cuffs and tighten, for me they seem much better at stoping water creeping up sleeve. Good job.
