Heated motorcycle clothing

We get bored of all the excuses people make not to try heated clothing. Usually, their views are based on ill-founded macho nonsense. Real bikers don’t use electric, and so on. Sometimes the objections are down to a fear of the unknown, or concerns about the complexities involved. In both cases, it’s nonsense. You wouldn’t drive a car without heating. Why would you dismiss it on the bike? Heated clothing can simply transform how you feel on the bike when it’s cold. It’s a game changer. Instead of worrying about whether you will turn into a block of ice before you get home, you can divert your attention to more pressing concerns. Like staying alive. The longer the ride, the more the need for heated clothing. Honestly, you won't know how you coped without it.

David: A Step above the KEIS and Gerbing

Ordering easy as always with Motolegends, and promptly arrived as advertised. Sizing was correct for my chest size, I take a 56 RUKKA Nivala and an XL was perfect fit remember these are base layer and supposed to cling fairly close to the body. I already had an existing power outlet for Gerbing jacket, and that fitted this Warm Safe. Very comfortable and so thin there are zero restrictions when wearing the jacket. It takes marginally longer to warm up than Gerbing , but when its warm, far superior to the Gerbing, no hot spots and very easy to control with the controller. I had thought about getting the jacket instead but very pleased I chose this base layer version. Highly recommend it

Bought this as the remote I already had had stopped working. When I opened it to change the batteries I had found it corroded inside. The new unit had batteries fitted, was connected and working within five minutes. It will teach me to remove batteries when the unit isnt used for a long period.

Paired with my Warm and Safeheated base layer these gloves make winter riding a pleasure. The dual heat controller is so easy to use and keeps me comfortable without getting too hot yet never feeling too cold either. In a word brilliant The only minor niggle is that I would like to see a better method of attaching the controller to the handlebars rather than a Velcro pad to the clutch reservoir.
