Richa Arc GTX Jacket and Pant Video Review

Published on: 03 February 2020

The new Richa Arc GTX suit represents two key developments. It demonstrates the Belgian company’s determination to take its brand more upmarket, and into a category that has not, historically, been representative of its heartland. It also demonstrates the move of the mainstream market away from traditional, drop-liner, waterproof motorcycle clothing towards a more technical, laminated solution. We shot this review in very early 2020. Now, the Arc GTX jacket has actually been in the company’s range for over a year but, in truth, we never took it as seriously as Richa would have wanted us to, because they failed to provide a matching lower half to the combination. They paired it to another laminated pant called the Atlantic, but it was not a marriage made in heaven, and the suit never worked as well as it should have done. Well, for this season, Richa has at last introduced the pant that the Arc always deserved. It also goes by the Arc GTX name, of course. Take a few minutes to hear what our Chap in the Cap has to say.
