Rukka Nivala 2.0 - the ultimate winter commuting suit

The Rukka Nivala 2.0 suit is, unsurprisingly, an updated version of the Nivala which first took the motorcycling market by storm in 2016.  It has become the benchmark for a comfortable, protective winter commuting and touring suit for the UK climate. The Down jacket and pants which come with the suit are recognised as the warmest liners you can get without going heated. And, the fact that they don't attach to the outer jacket has now become almost de rigeur in the market. The most remarkable thing about the Nivala jacket is just how comfortable it is. The Goretex 3 layer laminate is infused with stretch which belies its robustness. It still carries huge Level 2 D3O armour in the shoulders, elbows and back and a Level 1 chest protector. There is some venting but this jacket is more about keeping you dry and warm in the winter than about keeping you cool in the summer. With Rukka's 6 year warranty and Gore's guaranteed for life promise it is a suit that will stand the test of time.

If you are a high mileage commuter or tourer, braving bad weather, then the Rukka Nivala 2.0 suit needs to be on the shortlist. Also now available for ladies!

Rukka Nivala 2.0 trousers in black

MP: Excellent

I purchased these trousers and the matching jacket at the same time. I use the suit for longer distance rides on all roads and for when the weather turns messy. AutumnWinter. Well designed. Plenty of protection. Comfortable to wear and not as bulky as other outfits. Would I recommend it - Yes it is well worth the investment. As always outstanding service from MotoLegends. They have become my go to supplier for motorcycle attire.

Comfortable to wear and not as bulky as other outfits. I have found myself wearing the jacket on its own with a pair of jeans more this summer due to it comfort . Would I recommend it - Yes it is well worth the investment.
