SAS-TEC motorcycle armour is worth considering if you want flexible impact protection that sits discreetly inside your riding kit. Our range focuses on Phantom Level 2 armour: thin, supple protectors designed to follow the shape of the joint. That makes them particularly interesting for riders who find bulky inserts uncomfortable in everyday use.

We offer SAS-TEC Phantom knee and elbow armour and Phantom shoulder and hip armour, supplied in pairs. Both versions are approximately 9.5mm thick and provide CE Level 2 impact protection. The versions listed here require a suitable armour pocket and do not have Velcro attached.

Compatibility is the thing to check before ordering. Compare the protector’s dimensions with your garment’s pockets, and make sure it stays over the intended area when you’re sitting on the bike. A protector that can be squeezed into a pocket is only useful if it sits properly once you’re wearing the garment.

SAS-TEC Level 2 Phantom knee / elbow armour pack

How many times over the years have I felt the compromise between the best level of protection and my personal comfort? Well, no more. With the best level of protection available they fit into your jacket or pants and its like they were never there! Even in the knees on my dirt bike, they give good coverage of the knee and are soft, flexible and supremely comfortable. When will they be back in stock? I need to replace the old armour in all my kit!

Bought these to replace the hard shoulder armour in my vintage Dainese leather jacket. Very happy with the comfort - I havent tested them in anger and hope not to.

I bought a pair of Halvarssons Zion Motorcycle Trousers and was well pleased with them. The only down point was that old fashioned armour was a bit stiff and could be uncomfortable when not on the Bike On the Bike it was fine. I contacted Motolegends After Sales Team and they advised me about some alternatives. I bought the SAS-TEC Phantom Knee Hip Armour Level 2. The armour is really comfortable and I dont notice it at all, on or off the Bike. Level 2 protection too. Money well spent .
