Stylmartin Matt boots in black

The Stylmartin Matt boot is all about stealth and understatement. There's nothing showy or flash about the Matt. It's very covert; the SBS of motorcycle ankle boots.

 

The chassis is a waterproof-treated, full-grain leather; part nubuck and part smooth leather.

 

The boot comes with a waterproof and breathable membrane.

 

For protection there's a sturdy counter in the toe. There's another in the heel. There are foam-backed pucks in the ankles.

 

The boot fastens by means of laces; they're black obviously!

 

The sole is black at the sides, and black underneath. It's a sole that has what Stylmartin call their 'City Grip' tread pattern. The boot also comes with a removable, anatomic insole.

 

The laces contain a tiny amount of reflective thread. You also get a small, reflective panel in the heel.
