Leather Motorcycle Gloves

Leather is the traditional material from which motorcycle gloves have always been made, and of course leather has many advantages. Leather is comfortable, but it is thin so it gives great feel on the controls. Leather is also strong, so it provide abrasion resistance if you come off the bike. Leather gloves come in all shapes and sizes. All racing gloves are leather, and so are many gloves designed for touring and commuting. Some leather gloves are lined for warmth; others are totally unlined, so are perfect for riding in the summer, and when it is hot. The weakness of leather is its inherent sponge-like qualities. And so, in the rain, a leather glove will absorb water. Eventually, even if there’s a waterproof membrane in the glove, this will find its ways through to the skin, making you feel wet and, in certain conditions, cold. So, most motorcyclists will need more than one pair of gloves, and if you ride a lot in the rain, you should consider acquiring a textile glove with a waterproof membrane.

Having been an owner of these gloves before I can say they are absolutely superb in comfort and quality of manufacturer. Yes as advertised they might not meet any European standard but the outlast liner keeps you warm and the comfort level cannot be understated or ignored. The leather is early soft. Yes they stretch as all leather does. I have a couple of pairs of gloves and these are my autumn cooler weather gloves with the Klim Inductions as summer. The later are Serbs as well. Lastly the service from Motolegends in respect of help of sizing , dispatch is second to one I have received anywhere.

I already have a black pair of Lee Parks. Like the Black ones the Yellow pair took a few hours to mould a few more to mould properly to your hands - but when they do wow they are really really comfy. The video about them is spot on, no they may not have a rating but Id wager theyd stand up well to abrasion. Im usually a size 10 glove, both Lee Parks pairs are medium, they stretch as they mould. Are they worth the money - Yes absolutely! But you do need tp persevere until they are worn in.

Only worn once before the heatwave kicked in, ideal glove for when the temperature is mid teens to early 20s. I feel they size a bit small, purchased size 11 and 12 went with the 12. The returns and refund proceess is simple and free. In summary 1010 glove 1010 service.
