Summer Waterproof Motorbike Gloves

A summer-waterproof motorcycle glove will have a membrane, but no insulation. Such a glove will keep the motorcyclist's hands dry in the rain, but will also be warmer to ride in than summer gloves because the waterproof membrane will also serve to combat the effects of wind chill. A summer-waterproof biking glove is the most common style of motorcycle glove, and some people will be able to get away with this as their only glove. A summer-waterproof glove is usually wearable from, say, the beginning of April to the end of September. But this is also down to the weather, and how the rider perceives temperature. On the very warmest days, you will be more comfortable, in a pure summer motorcycle glove. You wouldn't wear a summer-waterproof glove on the very coldest days, you probably need a winter motorcycle glove at that stage, but with heated grips some people do ride with them into the winter months.

I bought these to replace another pair of Halvarssons gloves that got destroyed by a mouse of all things. These are very comfy and are easy to get on and are not too intrusive in the cuff area so easily allows fitment inside a narrow cuffed jacket . The stand out feature of these gloves is Halvarssons NUDUD touchscreen feature in the right index finger. This is very different to any other manufacturers poor effort at making touchscreen sensitive gloves apart from one Held glove. For me it made tis an easy choice. Id asked for advice on a glove off Chris as I needed a softer one without aggressive knuckle pressure etc. I had a detailed response with different gloves to look at. I chose the oleby and the fit, style and quality are spot on. Priced far too low and a quality glove. Well worth buying. Very good short cuff Gore-tex gloves. Lots of feel and have the look feel and build of a quality set of gloves. Moto legends are the only UK supplier but worth the expense.
