Richard: Defence and Comfort

When choosing bike gear, and particularly summer touring gear, it is sometimes easy to get carried away with having the most comfortable and cool clothing on the market, at the same overlooking the main reason for wearing it! On a bike, comfort is important, but Id argue that safety is even more vital, so finding a trade-off is the name of the game. These trousers, with proper armour the type that does not end up on the inside of your knees, doing nothing at all are a great trade-off. They are comfortable, practical and certainly feel robust and safe. In my so far limited test, they also have good airflow, and being Rukka, a good warranty. Sadly, they are also expensive, but you cant win them all!

Richard: Comfortable all day

Firstly, excellent service by Motolegends with regards speed and selection of colours and sizes. Much more selection than Others. The trousers are large in waist so I recommend sizing down. Super comfortable and flexible. Passive safety there! These and my Rokker Legend Straights are my bike kit these days after decades of trying everything else. Buy them, you wont be disappointed.and get them from Motolegends.

Having purchased the original Marrakesh pants a couple of years ago and regretting it due to the fit my fault and I should have taken them back but threw them in a cupboard and forgot about them, I was disappointed when I ordered the new ones to find the fit as bad. Again my fault as I went for the same waist and a standard leg. Im short and have lost weight, but I havent got taller. Now living 600 miles away from the shop I had a work trip and decided to whizz past the shop and see Chris Co in the shop and actually got fitted for the correct size pants now Im delighted. The fit of the new version is amazing and is as good as the Marrakesh jacket making a great combo if like me sometimes jeans annoy and you want something a little looser. Id also like to say you get what you pay for if buying from Motoledgends you also get the service you want and really dont get in a high street store. Now really looking forward to my Euro trip. Thank you all
