Stylmartin Matrix boots in black Product Information
The Stylmartin Matrix is a mix of a touring and an adventure boot, although it is, in essence, a re-working of an old style known as the Hi-Port that was a popular motocross boot back in the 1970s. It's made from a water-repellent, full-grain leather, although the main waterproofing comes courtesy of a membrane. The boots have hard protectors for the ankles, tibia and calf bones. Fastening is by way of Velcro with two ratchet adjusters. If you want the full motocross effect, the boots come with metal blocking caps that can be screwed into the sole. The sole is by Vibram. These boots look, to all intents and purposes, like proper, full-on, off-road boots, but they're actually incredibly comfortable to wear. You could commute or tour in them, wear them all day, and still walk the dog in them when you get home. Looks can be deceiving.

Bill Janson: Great boots, waterproof and comfortable
I have wide feet and have struggled to find boots to fit. These are true to size and super comfortable. They are easy to get on and off and the buckles easy to adjust. I have worn them through a couple of downpours and my feet have stayed dry. Off the bike they are comfortable as well. They are marking up a bit on the gearchange so will need a bit of wax polish or not for the worn in look.
