Touring & commuting motorcycle boots

A touring or commuting boot is normally a waterproof boot (certainly for the UK). It also tends to be a more traditionally styled longer boot that would work with a textile suit of some description. Here at Motolegends we offer what we believe are the best touring boots - from German brand Daytona. In addition we stock Goretex waterproof boots from Held and some options from TCX and Dainese too.

Held Annone 2 GTX boots in black

Andy: Held Annone 2 GTX

Purchased these boots 2 weeks before a trip. These boots were pretty comfortable straight out of the box but I do have wide feet, so to make them spot on i applied Graingers wax every day for a week coupled with an overnight shoe stretcher and wearing round the office, yes mad I know but all will be revealed. Tim when using wax to soften and waterproof new leather use a hairdryer as well pn the wax to make sure it goes into all the stitching. So first time on the bike and boots felt great all the way to Le Shuttle at folkstone, over the next 8 days I wore them all day every day we had monsoon rain for 5 hours down france, we had snow blizzard at the top of stelvio pass in italy. Through rain snow and 30 deg temperatures covering a total 2150 miles in a week my feet remained dry and comfortable. They have had another wax since I got home and are now fully broken in the leather is soft and supple in all the right places. I can safely say these are the best boots I have ever owned for my difficult sized feet. Delivery from Motolegends was very quick and very well packaged.

TCX X-Five 5 GTX boots in black

Roger: TCX X Five.... replaced after 15 years

My wife has just bought me a new pair of TCX X five boots to replace my old pair which are over 15 years old and starting to crack. They have done over 100000 miles in all weathers and seasons and have never leaked. I trust the new ones will be just as good.

Daytona Road Star Pro GTX boots in black

David James: Great Pair of boots

I first bought these boots in December 2025 but had to have them exchanged. I have been using the new pair since January 2026. After a short period of breaking them in they are extremely comfortable both on and off the bike. The build quality is extremely high and provides a reassuring sense of protection and safety. Yes they are expensive, but are far and away the best and most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned in over 50 years of riding. Just wish Id got them sooner. Motolegends service was exemplary as usual.
