Were fairly conditioned to look for price. Lots of bad reviews by non-customers of really nice products are simply because the price actually reflects the quality and the difficulty of making stuff that works well and lasts. Anyway, after ages of deliberating I went for the Kriega Roam RSD for a few reasons, the main ones being - people were saying the harness system works really well. It does! - I wanted something that would look fine as a regular rucksack as well as work on the bike - I hardly ever fly but still wanted something that would be within carry-on size for the odd occasion - the expansion zip is great, its not anywhere near as noticeable as you would think. - comes with a strap to attach to a bike - although not cheap its good value for the quality I think. - the main compartment opens wide enough to be easy to pack So, really pleased with it. The brown waxed cotton looks great and it feels like it will last ages.

I have owned and used a Kriega Tool Roll for several years and whilst its a brilliant solution for carrying my roadside tools, there are some more bulky, or odd shaped items which dont easily fit into the roll. What I needed was something which would contain these odds sods and prevent them floating around in my panniers. Im pleased to say Kriega have provided the answer in the form of their new Tool Pouch. Manufactured from Cordura fabric similar to the Tool Roll and using a sturdy YKK zip, its ideal for my needs. Strong, flexible and lightweight, it contains those useful extras, which dont fit into my Tool Roll. The usual high quality kit Ive come to expect from Kriega...
