Belstaff Brooklands Jackets

The Belstaff Brooklands jacket is surely the most iconic Belstaff motorcycle jacket in the collection. The Brooklands is basically a short jacket with twin-poppered chest pockets, a stormflap to cover the central zip, and buckles at the neck and waist. It comes either as a wax cotton motorcycle jacket which is fully waterproof, or leather for the ultimate style statement. The Belstaff Brooklands is immediately recognisable to bikers the world over. For many, this is the iconic Steve McQueen style short riding jacket which harks back to his Mojave desert racing days. Many manufacturers have tried to copy Belstaff motorcycle gear but none have succeeded. The original and still the best.

Bogdan: Stunning

Right away you can tell the quality! Great fit and stunning looks. I have been wearing this for a few months now and it holds well in cold weather 5 degrees for over an hour on the motorway, but Ive not tried it in heavy rain yet. The only two things I dont like are the zipper that is very hard to connect awkward position and also the belt and buckle adjuster can be a bit fiddly and not practical. But for such a good looking and quality jacket you can only rate it 55.

The Holgs: Beautiful jacket, superb quality

This is a beautifully-made jacket and the style and cut is timeless. I bought it as a water-proof summer jacket to use on my 60s Norton Atlas and it really suits the bike. I usually wear M and I bought this as an M for summer use - it is tight but perfect with a light jumper unlike my Trialmaster which is a L to allow for a down jacket or Merino submariner. For this reason I changed armour to lighter L2 Rheon back, S, E as the D30 is a bit bulky and only L1 and like most jacket there is no back protector included, which is a bit disappointing at the price and maybe an upgrade option by Motolegends would be a nice touch!?. I wore it already in heavy autumn rain in combination with an Rokker Revolution and I came home completely dry thanks to the jackets drop-liner membrane. The only minor criticism I have is that the armour pockets are open to the top which means that your hands can get caught when donning the jacket. The back protector is easily accessible and it is easily removed. Thats very handy as the jacket is so nice and comfortable that I wear it also off the bike. Motolegends service was efficient as usual. Delivery was fast but their DHL delivery service to Ireland is expensive due to their own admin charges on top of VAT and customs - there are better alternatives out there

gerry: superb BUT !!

Motolegends were fantastic as usual...this is my 3rd Belstaff from them ..when ordering i would recommend paying a little more and get Ghost armour as the supplied is inflexible and in my opinion uncomfortable
