Belstaff Wax Cotton motorcycle jackets

Wax Cotton jackets have always possibly the most important product in the range of Belstaff motorcycle gear. This is where the story began and this is still the line of product that links the modern Belstaff jacket to the heritage values of the brand. From Steve McQueen to Sammy Miller, motorcyclists through history have worn a Wax Cotton Belstaff jacket. The material is naturally hard wearing and abrasion resistance. It has a water repellency which is now complimented by a proper waterproof membrane. It last forever and needs very little cleaning and maintenance. A perfect material for a motorbike jacket

The wax cotton jackets from Belstaff come in pretty much three styles. The traditional long four pocket jacket with a belt which is called the Trialmaster. The short movie star style one called the Belstaff Brooklands and the inbetween length which is probably the most wearable on a bike - the Crosby.

Belstaff Crosby jacket in black

Mark: Great Jacket even better service

The Belstaff Crosby jacket is exactly how I hoped a Waxed motorcycle jacket would fit. Its light enough that doesnt restrict your movement and enough presence to give you the assurance, should unfortunate event happens. The fit is very modern and flattering. If you thinking of layering up under the jacket, try it first and maybe size up, As for the Motorlegend customer service, I cannot praise enough how helpful they were. Thank you.

The Holgs: Beautiful jacket, superb quality

This is a beautifully-made jacket and the style and cut is timeless. I bought it as a water-proof summer jacket to use on my 60s Norton Atlas and it really suits the bike. I usually wear M and I bought this as an M for summer use - it is tight but perfect with a light jumper unlike my Trialmaster which is a L to allow for a down jacket or Merino submariner. For this reason I changed armour to lighter L2 Rheon back, S, E as the D30 is a bit bulky and only L1 and like most jacket there is no back protector included, which is a bit disappointing at the price and maybe an upgrade option by Motolegends would be a nice touch!?. I wore it already in heavy autumn rain in combination with an Rokker Revolution and I came home completely dry thanks to the jackets drop-liner membrane. The only minor criticism I have is that the armour pockets are open to the top which means that your hands can get caught when donning the jacket. The back protector is easily accessible and it is easily removed. Thats very handy as the jacket is so nice and comfortable that I wear it also off the bike. Motolegends service was efficient as usual. Delivery was fast but their DHL delivery service to Ireland is expensive due to their own admin charges on top of VAT and customs - there are better alternatives out there

Terry: Very Pleased

I was considering a second winter Jacket and the flash sale with 30 off to to good to miss, even though the price went up from £505 to £595, however I still am delighted with the discount. So much better being lighter than the old one, nice touch in the sleeves Chris in the cap forgot to mention in his excellent review, The inner elasticated cuffs stop the water going up the sleeve. An excellent product and excellent price from one of the best sellers in the country why would I shop anywhere else? Thank you Motolegends yet another perfect purchase.
