Belstaff Wax Cotton motorcycle jackets

Wax Cotton jackets have always possibly the most important product in the range of Belstaff motorcycle gear. This is where the story began and this is still the line of product that links the modern Belstaff jacket to the heritage values of the brand. From Steve McQueen to Sammy Miller, motorcyclists through history have worn a Wax Cotton Belstaff jacket. The material is naturally hard wearing and abrasion resistance. It has a water repellency which is now complimented by a proper waterproof membrane. It last forever and needs very little cleaning and maintenance. A perfect material for a motorbike jacket

The wax cotton jackets from Belstaff come in pretty much three styles. The traditional long four pocket jacket with a belt which is called the Trialmaster. The short movie star style one called the Belstaff Brooklands and the inbetween length which is probably the most wearable on a bike - the Crosby.

Belstaff Brooklands jacket in mahogany

William: Great Quality

A fantastic jacket that has kept me warm and dry, in the ever predictable rain in Wales. This has taken precedence over my Nivala and Turner jackets, which I use with my Rokker jeans on regular days riding for four to six hours in all weather conditions. Once I receive my Rokker Revolution jeans, Ill probably retire my other gear! Thanks ML for your continued great service.

Belstaff Brecon Bomber jacket in olive

Phill: First foray into the dark art of waxed cotton

wasnt sure what to expect from a waxed cotton bomber jacket but was pleasantly surprised, a bit stiff to start with but got used to that, fast delivery by motolegends and well packaged

Belstaff Brooklands jacket in sand

Bogdan: Stunning

Right away you can tell the quality! Great fit and stunning looks. I have been wearing this for a few months now and it holds well in cold weather 5 degrees for over an hour on the motorway, but Ive not tried it in heavy rain yet. The only two things I dont like are the zipper that is very hard to connect awkward position and also the belt and buckle adjuster can be a bit fiddly and not practical. But for such a good looking and quality jacket you can only rate it 55.
