Belstaff Long Way Up jacket in dark sand

Martin W: Did I need another jacket?

At the sale price - yes. Dark Sand colour is a bit different from the usual Black. Fit good, looks good and highly protective...plus triple laminated Gore-Tex - add the down jacket and you have a extremely well specced piece of kit comparable with Stadler, Rukka and Klim.

Dave C: Brilliant!

Took a long time researching laminated jackets, watching all of Chris videos to get a feel for what I wanted. I dont live anywhere near Surrey so getting to the shop was never going to happen. The Belstaff LWU jacket fits me like a glove. I wear the LWU down jacket below it, and have to say, after a tour of Scotland and Wales I was lovely and warm and bone dry. The Belstaff quality shines through and the khaki matches my bike a treat. Saving up to buy the bottoms now.

Belstaff Long Way Up jacket in light grey

Andy Reohorn: All rounder with issues

A good fit, albeit a very heavy jacket on lifting it initially. Good armour. Only been through showers so far how have I managed that in 4,000 miles of riding?!, but appears to be waterproof in a shower at least. Good flow of air around the jacket when required. Do wear undergarments if the temperatures are on the chilly side though. To be fair it says that in the product description. Bugbears - the collar rubs against your neck when doing shoulder checks. Might be because its new, time will tell. The cuffs could do with more ability to tighten around ones gloves once theyve been put on. The jacket is longer than most, which to me is a good thing BUT the front zipper is very short and the bottom Velcro attachment doesnt hold when you sit on either of my bikes, so you have a gap from belly button down at the front when seated. I can imagine this will let water in when it does rain again. Overall good with above niggles noted.
