Segura Gunthar jacket review

Published on: 02 April 2020

The Segura Gunthar is a traditional, four-pocket motorcycle jacket in the classic Belstaff mould. Although it has side adjusters rather than a central belt, and is made of a textile material rather than wax cotton. At just £325, it is incredibly well priced, given all the detailing on the jacket and what it delivers. It’s got a waterproof membrane, a thermal, inner jacket, good venting and so on. It is, in styling terms, what is known as a classic, retro adventure jacket. You might not choose it for your 1250 GS, but it would look right on any kind of Scrambler, the Guzzi V85, a Multistrada, or even an Africa Twin. There’s a lot going on with this jacket, and there’s no better way to hear about the jacket than to spend a few minutes listening to the Chap in the Cap.
