What are the main differences between the Shoei Neotec 3 and the Shoei Neotec 2?

Shoei has worked hard to make the helmet quieter by extending the cheek pads back to stop wind ingress at the back of the shell, by making the comms and switches lower profile and by amending the nose shape to make it more aerodynamic. Visor has central locking mechanism as is required under EC 22-06.  Weight is about the same. 

When was the Shoei Neotec 3 launched?

The helmet was announced and arrived in early September 2023.

What is the lifespan of a Shoei Neotec 3?

That really depends on your usage but as with all Shoei helmets, the Neotec 3 has a 5 year warranty.

How many shell sizes are there in a Shoei Neotec 3?

The Neotec 3 comes in three shell sizes. XS, S and M out of a medium shell, L has a shell size of its own and XL and 2XL out of an XXL shell. 

Other Shoei helmets available are the  Shoei Glamster 06, Shoei GT Air 3 , Shoei NXR 2, Shoei Hornet ADV, Shoei Ex-Zero and Shoei JO.

What comms system can I fit on the Shoei Neotec 3?

There is a specific comms that fits on the Shoei Neotec 3. It is the Sena SRL-03 and is based on the Sena 50S. The comms is easy to fit and is perfectly streamlined when fitted on the helmet. You can fit other comms but the best solution is the one that is purpose made for the helmet.
