Spidi Motorcycle Clothing

Spidi was founded in 1977 by Renato Dalla Grana, and today is run by his son Nicola. The company’s first products were gloves, and in 1979 the company achieved its first global success when Kenny Roberts won the world championship. At the end of the eighties, Spidi started to produce other protective clothing. Spidi is the smallest of the three main Italian brands, but we are of the view that their designs, the quality of the components they use, and the way they are constructed, put them in a different, and certainly more stylish, league to the other two global players.

We have worked closely with Spidi to develop two exclusive versions of their Vintage leather jacket. It is superbly stylish, subtle and seems to fit a wide variety of shapes and sizes very well. We also sell a number of Spidi's motorcycling jeans which wear like normal street jeans but are properly protective.

Recently took advantage of a Sunday sale to buy another one of these jackets. As usual the service was 5 star. I have ridden 2 summers in the Brema Vase jacket and its my favourite jacket. I think its quite an unusual jacket because of how its constructed. Its highly breathable, stretchy and extremely flexible. Great in hot weather. Without armour you can roll this jacket up and stuff it in a rucksack ! I dont know of any other AA level Jacket you can do this with. I wear this jacket over my Knox armoured shirt so I cannot comment on how the jacket fits with armour in it. But without armour the jacket is perfect as an over jacket because of its flexibility. It fits perfectly. It works really well in a layer system. The jacket is stylish and still looks good after extensive use. Its of cause not waterproof but I just add a Scott Held waterproof over the top. As an added bonus the jacket works great as a casual jacket off the bike. A good destination jacket. As far as sizing Im 6 ft 42 in chest and normal wear LXL but needed to go up one size to a 2XL. Hope this review helps but Im sure any questions Chris and his team will help. Ed S: I really hoped I wouldnt like it..

Just taken delivery of this jacket. I really hoped it wouldnt fit me because I couldnt really afford it, even though Ive long coveted it, the 20 off tipped me over the edge to buy it. Unfortunately, it is a great fit, the leather is beautiful and the smell gorgeous. Its a keeper, the wife and dog are on eBay. Im 6 1, 43 chest and bought a 54

Great fitting trousers, lightweight and comfortable, with plenty of pockets if required. one thing to to be aware of is the reinforced area around the knee, whilst it provides protection, in my experience, you need to be aware that it can rub against the tank and and cause mild scratches, I ride an adventure bike with a wide tank, which may also be a contributing factor, but ive not had an issue with any other bike trousers i wear.
