Product Information

The Advance gloves from Halvarssons are made from a mixture of softy et durable goatskin and a Spantex coating which helps to keep the water from penetrating through to the leather. The gloves are also reinforced with HI-ART technology which helps minimise wear through abrasion and also makes the leather 200% stronger tests have shown. The CE approved gloves have a Dryway+ membrane to keep out the wind and rain whilst remaining flexible and therefore comfortable to wear. There's also an Outlast temperature regulating liner, which was first developed by NASA, it absorbs the body temperature and redistributes it evenly helping maintain a good body temperature, it also works in a wide range of temperatures. Additionally, there's a thinsulate liner which helps to keep in warmth, a hard knuckle guard and MC Fit to prevent the lining from becoming detached from the outer layer when removing the garment. They have an adjustable wrist and cuff to ensure a perfect fit. Read our review on the best winter motorcycle gloves.

Raymond Schwer: Halvarssons AdvanceGlove

These gloves are my second pair of Halvarsson gloves I have purchased, they are of great quality and are near perfect fit and fully waterproof and comfortable, would have given them 5* rating but I could do with a little extra length in the thumb which was a issue with a different model of Halvarsson glove, but this could be me, I always seem to have this problem with any make I have.

Graham Roberts: Quality glove

Very good quality glove with some nice features. The fit (after getting the right size) is very comfortable, snug but flexible. I would say go for one size up as they seem a bit tight if you go by the sizing guide. The protection looks top notch and is far better than most 3 season gloves. The outlast does appear to work and you can feel a small temperature change. I would say the gloves are a 3 season glove and are good down to about 7 or 8 degrees C. Although not really warm enough for winter the upside is the feel is really good for an insulated glove. If you buy these for Spring / Summer / Autumn use you will not be disappointed they are a great glove.

David Howell: At last - a winter glove that works

There have been many winter gloves over they years and until now the choice has either been gloves that are too thick to feel the controls or alternatively frozen fingers that can't feel anything anyway. The Halvarssons Advance gloves are a revelation. Flexible enough to be comfortable and to be able to feel what's going on and with my heated grips, they keep my hands warm for a few hours at a time in temperatures around freezing. One other huge advantage that all long distance riders will appreciate is that you can get them on again with damp hands after a rainy fuel stop, without entering into a 10 minute tug of war. My only gripe is that the retaining strap across the back of the wrist has no increase in width on the end to stop it sliding out of the buckle and it's virtually impossible to get it back in place without having to take the other glove off again. Otherwise, brilliant.

Denis Vauclair: Good gloves

Very comfy gloves. Warm enough during latest cold spell, although only used for short trips so far (1 hour long).
