Bering Carter leather jacket in brown Product Information

The Bering Carter jacket is an all season leather jacket that pays tribute to the 70's by using full grain, soft, 1.5mm leather with decorative stitched quilted panels on the shoulders and elbows. Inside, the jacket has a removable, thermo aluminium lining, CE approved shoulder and elbow protectors, the latter of which can be adjusted to fit, a L2 back protector and triple stitching on all high impact areas to avoid tearing. The jacket has a full-length front zip with a wind proofing insert behind, 4 outside pockets, 1 inside pocket and waist and wrist adjusters. It is important to take care of leather by using a nourishing treatment regularly and when drying the jacket not to place it too close to a heat source which would cause premature aging. Lee marsden: Product Review

I have used this jacket for 18 months in all weathers. It is well made and fits well if you are not too big in the belly but is not for summer use too heavy and too hot.

Steve Hunt MCN: Product Review

I absolutely adore this jacket. The vintage styling of the leather- 1.5mm cowhide- harks back to the trendy period of the 70s (honestly, there was one!) and isn’t compromised by large logos or tacky details. But the throwback style is just that, an appearance. Unlike the genuine 70s jacket, there’s a full set of CE-approved armour, including a back protector, and the elbow armour can be moved so it covers the joint correctly. There’s also a removable aluminium thermal lining. I don’t have a bad word to say about this jacket; it’s perfect! But my larger-than-desired belly means I sometimes struggle to zip it up without holding my breath.

Dave Barnes: Product Review

I liked the look of the jacket when I bought it but ultimately it let me down. The stitching on the wrist tab came away. With the price in mind, this really shouldn't have happened! Still looks cool though.
