The Arai Rapide helmet in red is exclusive to Motolegends in the UK. It looks like an Arai of old, but it is a totally modern and up to date helmet that shares many of the features to be found on any modern Arai. It is exactly what many motorcyclists have been searching for. In recent years there has been a huge growth in what one might term retro motorcycles, but before the Arai all the helmets that were designed to be worn on these bikes were deficient in one way or another. The Rapide is a safe helmet. It is comfortable, quiet, well vented and comes with a Pinlock 120, yet it has the kind of totally smooth round shell that all motorcycle helmets had back in the seventies and eighties. In design terms, the helmet is a mix between a classic helmet and the kind of helmet that would also look right on something like a street fighter. But despite the way it looks, the Arai Rapide is totally twenty first century. It’s the kind of helmet that you can wear on the bike without any sense of compromise.

Ian: My Red Lid
I purchased this helmet, after freezing with an open face last winter, it fits well, is a lot quieter and should be a lot warmer, although I feel slightly remote from the riding experience after a few years in an open face helmet. The red is stunning and only available on this site. Ian
Imanol: Great stuff
Can't compare with other full face helmets, because I ride a naked Moto Guzzi and a Vespa and always used an open face one. I used size M and the Arais M size fits perfect for me. It looks great and on the road I feel it very comfortable. My only doubt is that when cold, even with the front air intakes closed, my sensation is that the air flows around my head, although, at the moment, I can't say my brain has become freezed... I don't know below 5ºC...
